In a laundry room in Winnipeg

A few weeks ago I was visiting my family in Winnipeg and I felt inspired to create. I didn't have any of my woodworking tools or art supplies so I decided to make something different. I wanted to use recycled materials and acrylic paints. I made a  quick trip to the art store to get some paints and then went into the garage searching for treasure. I was ecstatic to discover my father-in-law's stash of metal bits and pieces. That evening he set me up in the laundry room at an old card table with my paints and a pile of salvaged materials. This flower was made that night. It was a great reminder that you can create anywhere.
